The Governor of Oyo State,Abiola Ajimobi,on Saturday affirmed that Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho,had been running on 99 financial balances, including that the expense educational cost may be explored to make it self supporting.
The senator unveiled this on Saturday in Ibadan, while highlighting on a program, 'Saturday Special,' disclosed on the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State.
As indicated by the News Agency of Nigeria, Ajimobi said since he accepted office in 2011, his organization had paid N22bn to the foundation.
He depicted the sum being paid as school charges in LAUTECH as "wretched."
"The default in the installment of subvention and pay rates was because of monetary downturn. When we went ahead board, we lessened the school expense to N65,000.
"There are optional schools that charge amongst N150,000 and N200,000, while a few colleges charge amongst N500,000 and N2m.
Envision, the organization has 99 records and some couldn't be followed," he said.
The senator included that the legislature had found a way to determine the emergency in the college, among which was the reviewing of its record to decide its practicality to act naturally supporting.
Ajimobi revealed that the legislature had constituted the foundation's overseeing gathering which would present its report after the occasion.
He guaranteed that the emergency in the college would soon be finished and the foundation would be given a take-off allow for three months.
Remarking on Oyo State Technical University, Ajimobi said the foundation, which would take off in October, was a specific establishment.
