"This administration needs to battle debasement however what is the test? Nigerians would prefer not to help the battle against defilement; the legal and the lawmaking body would prefer not to help the battle against debasement. It is as though just the President and the Vice-President are in help of the war against debasement."

Obono-Obla said Nigeria had laws that could be utilized as a part of imprisoning degenerate individuals yet past governments were not overcome enough to take the bull by the horn.

The presidential assistant included, "The law we are utilizing to battle defilement now has been as a result since 1983 yet that law has not been utilized by progressive governments on the grounds that these progressive organizations did not have the will, did not have the dedication or commitment to battle debasement and this legislature has gone into the chronicles to unearth that law to battle defilement and the law is extremely strict and perhaps that is the reason progressive organizations did not utilize that law in battling debasement. That law originates before the EFCC and ICPC Act."

Obono-Obla had likewise chastened ex-President Goodluck Jonathan for asserting he battled debasement, saying his organization was, "shockingly degenerate."

"Why is this man blowing hot and frosty? Anybody blowing hot and icy is not a man of uprightness. Any individual who doesn't talk the fact of the matter is not a man of honesty. More than N500bn was stolen by authorities of his administration. That was the reason Nigeria went bankrupt. That was the reason more than $48bn that was left by the Musa Yar'Adua's legislature was wasted."
