Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as Uefa's Player of the Year, in front of Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Juventus manager, Gianluigi Buffon to the prize.
The Portuguese has now won the honor three times, one more than Barcelona's 30-year-old forward Messi.
Barca's Netherlands midfielder Lieke Martens, 24, won the ladies' prize.
Martens was instrumental in her nation's European Championship triumph this late spring, where she was named player of the competition.
She beat Wolfsburg striker Pernille Harder and Lyon midfielder Dzsenifer Marozsan to assert the prize.
