A lady is in basic condition after her significant other supposedly poured acid on her for postponing to come back to their conjugal home subsequent to going to her sickly granddad.
Ms Jane Kyazike, 25, was on Friday admitted to Iganga Hospital in Uganda after her significant other, Wilbrod Awor, apparently raged her folks' home in Kakumbi town, Waibuga Sub County in Luuka District and poured corrosive on her.
As per DailyMonitor, The suspect is accounted for to have left his living arrangement in Buwenda Village in Jinja to hurt his significant other who is said to have left his home two months prior to deal with her sickly granddad. The couple has one kid.
Talking from her doctor's facility bed, the casualty said that on the pivotal night, she woke up to seeing 'a man' in the house.
"I heard a few developments in the house and when I endeavored to streak the light on my telephone, he poured some fluid which I late acknowledged was corrosive, on my head and it overflowed the body.
The attacker apparently fled when the casualty raised an alert.
Kyazike's mom Ms Jamila Namwase, said she deferred to come back to her conjugal home in light of the fact that as she was all the while dealing with her granddad, her sister kicked the bucket in a street mischance.
She included that the suspect had been frequenting her place annoying his better half to return home in two days keeping in mind that he hurts them two. The casualty, who supported extreme body wounds, was alluded to Mulago Hospital for better restorative care.
